Released for Verizon Wireless, the Nokia 2366i features a compact profile for a value-priced handset. The 2366i includes an attractive list of features designed to position it a step above most entry tier CDMA phones. Along with integrated Bluetooth technology and handsfree speakerphone, the fold-style 2366i phone includes a large 128 x 160 px color main display complemented by a high-visibility 96 x 65 px blue / black external display. The Nokia 2366i phone can be easily personalized with built-in graphics and unique polyphonic ringtones.

Front and center is the postage stamp (96×65 pixels) external display. It’s monochrome with a blue background, but that’s perfectly fitting for a phone without a camera. It shows the date, the time, the battery life, the signal strength, and the caller ID (where available) but you can’t change the backlighting time or any other options on the external display. Surrounding the display is a patterned section on the front flap and a thin, silver border, which help to break up the plain black color scheme. A covered headset jack sits on top of the phone, and a thin volume rocker sits on the left spine. The charger port is in the bottom end.

The main display of the phone measures 2.14 inches, having 128×160 pixels, with the support of 65,536 colours. With this, the resolution of the phone is very dim, and does not feature any graphics or any colour hues. The user can change the backlight time of this internal display, but that is about all as far as the controls for the display are concerned.
