The Nokia 6070 is a compact & classic style mobile phone which comes in highly attractive silver grey coloured casing. The phone has a large & very user friendly keypad which will allow the user to create messages & dial telephone numbers with ease. The phone weighs a total of 88 grams & the overall casing size is 105.4 x 44.3 x 18.6 mm which provides a very good & comfortable handset.
The 6070 comes with a beautiful & bright 65k CSTN colour screen (128 x 160 pixels) which provides a great viewing display. The phone comes complete with a VGA camera which can be very easily be turned into a video recorder feature. The user can enjoying capturing still photos with the camera feature & with video recorder the user can capture their memories in action. The camera comes with photos effects that allow the user to add frames to their treasured photos to create the perfect finish. The Nokia 6070 allows the user to play video records & the user can download photos or video very quickly & easily. The Nokia 6070 comes with a total of 16 Mbytes of memory so therefore the user will have enough space available to store all of those precious photos & video recordings.
The Nokia 6070 handset has a 128 x 160 resolution screen that supports 65K colors. The display may seem somewhat basic, but it works just fine for a phone in its price range.
There’s plenty of room to store numbers in the 6070’s phonebook, but memory is on the lower side. with only about 4 MB available, it will give you enough room to store a good handful of mobile files, but the space is limited.
The standby battery life is great, at around 12 days. Talk time is a little on the low side, however, at about 3 hours.
The Nokia 6070’s VGA camera captures decent quality stills, but it won’t replace your digital camera by any means.
A few features worth mentioning are the handy speakerphone, integrated radio with speaker, and compatibility with PTT, the walkie-talkie style push to talk technology. The Nokia 6070 also suports Edge connection for fast GRPS.
There’s also infrared support to transfer ringtones and pictures. During this Nokia 6070 review we didn’t find any Bluetooth connection, but it’s something that was expected for a phone at this price point.
Overall, I recommend the Nokia 6070 as a basic phone for keeping in touch with your friends and sending SMS messages. It’s a great value, and a perfect everyday phone.
