The 6165i, an upgraded version of the 6155, adds Bluetooth, and left off the FM radio. Depending on the carrier, some versions of the 6165i will come with BREW 3.1. Key attributes include dual TFT color displays, a megapixel camera with LED flash and video capture, and speakerphone.

Nokia 6165i features a 1.0-megapixel camera with flash and provides support for all major types of connectivity - Bluetooth, USB cable, and infrared. Support for location-based services allow the 6165i to take advantage of mobile applications that take advantage of positioning information for accessing information on nearby points of interest, directions and more. Besides Bluetooth technology, the 6165i features support for downloadable Java or BREW applications, streaming audio and video content and customizable MIDI ringtones.

The 6165i has an integrated speaker phone for hands-free operation and the phone features voice dialling, by just calling out a name. Nokia 6165i has 64-chord polyphonic sound engine supported by MP3 and video ringer. Besides having the Bluetooth feature, the phone allows downloading of Java or BREW applications. The phone supports practically all the basic features that are desirable in a mobile phone, such as, SMS, MMS, alarm, calculator, currency converter, calendar, email client, picture caller Id, etc. It also allows downloading of games of your choice.
